Extremely delicious and extremely inexpensive American Chinese food that's much better than most of what you you can find even in Atlanta.

I've heard stupid jokes around Jackson about why the food is so cheap, but such racist jibes do an awful disservice to the lovely Malaysian family who run this restaurant. They use extremely fresh ingredients and prepare everything from scratch every day, so you're never going to be served anything that's been refrigerated or microwaved. The restaurant is cheap because its owners manage it well and do steady business.

The General Tsao Chicken is especially good, with spicy sauce and huge helpings of fresh sweet green peppers, but my favorite dish is the Happy Family, which combines every possible ingredient and shouldn't work but somehow magically does. The pot stickers (deep-fried pork dumplings) are divine, and the eggrolls are a perfect mixture of crunchy and chewy. All of the soups are competent and served with surpringly delicate fried egg noodle crispies, which I could eat by the bagful. The hot jasmine tea they serve is refreshing and subtly fragrant. And finally, don't be afraid to try the seafood dishes!

The restaurant decor is retro and charming, and the service is attentive and friendly. These guys are really great with large groups.

The drive-thru take-out line can sometimes take a while, especially on Friday and Saturday evenings, so it's better to call ahead and go inside to pick up your food.

I really hate to write this review because my husband said they were all so very nice but this site is for the food and service review. So for service they get 4 stars but the food was just awful. We ordered take out from here last Thursday night. We ordered kung Po chicken, pork with vegetables and Mongolian beef. We were both starving when we got the food home half an hour later. This is the only reason we were able to eat any of it because it was flavorless and mostly onion. The pork with veg being the exception of the onion onslaught where instead we were bombarded by cabbage. However the veggies in it left a lot to be desired. The snow peas were so thin they were see through. There was SO much cabbage, very few carrots and all the veggies were of poor quality. The Mongolian beef was one of the worst I've ever had. All onion, poor quality beef and the noodles were teeny tiny. (All of the cheapest quality). The kung Po chicken - they wanted you to see the peanuts cause they were on top -but they were few. Once again the poorest of quality. Nothing had any flavor. Even the rice was inedible because it was so dried out. We won't be going back ever again!   So a couple of days later as it sat in the fridge we decided just to feed the leftovers to the dogs since neither of us wanted it. I took out all of the onions on each dish and boy that didn't leave a lot for the pups but anyway I mixed it in with their kibble and even they wouldn't eat it! Enough said.

We ordered takeout. Chicken didn't look remotely like real chicken at all.. very strange. Tasted funny.

Small place with run down old 70's decor that looks like it needs replacing. I been to Mandarin Chinese may times include eating in China and this place is no where near being good or healthy. Heavy flavors with lots of salt and MSG. I ordered several dishes and the food all started to taste the same cause of the same oils and soy sauce. The prices are high for the quality of the food unless you want to stuff the belly. I ordered 5 different dishes and didn't find anything I liked. Only thing I can say good about the place is our waiter was very fast and helpful but the boss- asian lady with frown face was very unfriendly. I know Georgia isn't a place known for Chinese food but this place was disappointing and not recommended. Come on! Expect more.

Awful! We got a small fried rice and 3 eggrolls. Eggrolls were small and soggy. Fried rice was  brown rice, no egg, no meat, no flavor. Resturant was dirty inside, ceiling tiles were disgusting. Don't waste your money or time!
